Translation:
Pallavi:
I stand as a servant guarding the doorway, O Lord Hari!
In the resplendent home of the devotees in Vaikuntha.
Anupallavi:
Encircling the outer courtyard, I walk around,
Inspecting those who come and go, granting permission.
Standing firm with a club in hand for protection,
I am part of the Lord Hari’s magnificent entourage.
Charana 1:
At the threshold, I stand as the humble doorkeeper,
Adorning the ornate hall with royal dignity.
I craft garlands with pearls and vibrant threads,
And spread radiant rugs of precious gems.
Charana 2:
At specific moments, I engage in the sacred duties,
Fanning with the regal chamara at the divine pavilion.
With cymbals and drums, I join the celestial symphony,
Singing and celebrating the Lord of prosperity.
Charana 3:
I light lamps, illuminating the divine courtyard,
Wash the lotus feet of the Lord with devotion.
I offer fragrant garlands of enchanting flowers,
And at dusk, I humbly serve as His attendant.
Charana 4:
I fulfill my share of duties with utmost dedication,
Partake of the blessed remnants of Shesha’s grace.
To Adikeshava of Sheshagiri, the Lord of Kaginele,
I remain a servant of the servants in His holy abode.
